Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, born in 1955, is the Chairman of Runner Group and Runner Footwear Limited. He completed his B. Com (Hons), M. Com (Management) from University of Rajshahi. After completion of his education he started his career in a private organization named Farmland Engineering Limited in 1978 where he served till 1983. Then, he joined HS Enterprise Limited and served there till 1999 as Director Operation. Subsequently, he established Runner Automobiles Limited and is actively involved in the operations of the company. He is one of the most experienced industrialist in the automobiles sector. Hafizur Rahman Khan has been selected as Commercially Important Person (CIP) for the period 2013-2014. In recognition of the pioneering role played in automobiles manufacturing in Bangladesh, our honorable Chairman received most prestigious “President’s Award for Industrial Development – 2016”.
Mr. Md. Mozammel Hossain, born in 1955, is the Vice Chairman of Runner Group and Runner Footwear Limited. He completed B. Com (Hons), M. Com (Marketing) from University of Dhaka. Upon completion of education he started his career in 1980 in Singer Bangladesh Limited and worked there till 1985. Then he joined HS Enterprise Limited and served there from 1985 to 1999 as General Manager (Marketing). He is actively involved in Runner Automobiles Limited since inception. He is one of the most experienced industrialists in the automobile and electronics sector.
He directly evaluates and oversees footwear business unit and focused on strategic matters.
Mr. Nazrul is a veteran professional with several years of experience in local and multinational organizations. He is one of the young Chartered accounts in Bangladesh. He has a vast experience in FMCG business and its operations. He had several years of experience in various business operations ranging from start up to turn around stages. He has many years of experience in analyzing business case, mobilizing investment for startups and running operations. He experience includes working with Proctor and Gamble, Novartis Bangladesh and Microsoft Bangladesh as consultant. He was lead for several major due diligence like Singtel investment in Bangladesh, Amex operation take over and Godrej investment in Bangladesh. During his long career he was in accounting practice for more than 8 years, in Unilever more than 5 years as a senior team member and as a Member of Finance Leadership team.
He had working experience with Deloitte one of the big four audit firms globally and he had working experience in Deloitte Doha office as a senior member of the team. His business knowledge, experience and network is a great advantage for any kind of business where he is engaged.
Syed Asaduzzaman is currently holding the position of the Chief Executive Officer of Runner Footwear Ltd where he directs the day-to-day operations of the company and incorporates all the strategic level decisions to lead the company to its excellence. He has overall responsibility for the company’s marketing efforts, including product marketing and operational planning. He is also responsible for the customer development, management and investigating future expansion and technology implementation.
After completing his BSc Engineering Degree in Leather Products Engineering, Syed joined Bay Footwear as a Merchandiser through which he started his professional career. After that he did not look back and began stepping up the career ladder with prominent success. Working in the footwear industry for more than a decade, Mr Asad has managed and led different national and multinational companies at home and abroad. Syed was the Regional Manager at Kari LLC – a Russian Multi National Footwear retail company (950+ shops) and before that worked as General Manager at FB Footwear Ltd – an Italian joint-venture export-oriented leather footwear manufacturing company.
With an entrepreneurial mind and having a diverse educational background, Syed is highly specialized in engineering, corporate governance, accounting and finance for managerial decision, human resources and employee relations, marketing in a change environment, strategic planning and leadership and has gained expertise through several national and international training programmes in various fields.
